GOVERNANCE

I have extensive experience of working with Board of Trustees and can offer a professional common-sense approach to small/medium sized charities to identify areas of risk and make recommendations for any action that may be required. My approach is tailored to each individual organisation and the scope of work could vary from a specific review for an identified risk/issue through to a full review and audit.

I have a proven track record in developing fundraising strategies, capital appeal plans and implementing them to secure significant income. I specialise in supporting small to medium sized charities to grow their revenue funding and can offer practical delivery of fundraising with a good success rate with trusts and foundation applications.

COMMUNICATIONS

Having a strong case for support and being able to demonstrate the difference and impact you are making has never been so important. Stakeholders and funders want to know that funds are being spent effectively and that their support is making a difference. I have considerable experience of producing compelling information which demonstrates this. Having an ‘external’ perspective can also be key to having clear, confident and strong messages.

LEADERSHIP

Charities can sometimes have gaps in resources especially when they are small organisations looking to grow or maybe due to sickness, recruitment delays or extended leave in senior posts. I can add my expertise to your team for an interim period to help you through a transition, to fill a gap or to support a specific project.

TRAINING & MENTORING

I have provided valuable mentoring support for key team members of charity teams and appeals at critical moments. This has ensured that organisations can develop and nurture existing talent and empowered individuals increasing their knowledge and confidence to lead. I won the National Third Sector Award for 'rising Chief Executive for outstanding contribution to your organisation, or the wider sector, during the first two years in post' and have all the credentials to mentor and support new to post CEOs to achieve positive outcomes for all.

Mentoring is a great way to develop internal team members whilst knowing you have a supportive hand hold.
